BUILDING DETAILS
Just like Twelve Atlantic Station, Twelve Centennial Park offer reasonably priced units when you compare to similar buildings located in Midtown or Buckhead. Therefore, if you are looking for a high-rise with exposed concrete and floor to ceiling windows and would like to get more for your money Twelve Centennial Park might be a good option. Another advantage of this building is location of MARTA train station right in front of the building. So, if you travel a lot you can just step outside, get on the train and in 15-20 minutes check in for your flight at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
The units in this tower offer same old Novare finishes. Since some of the units used to be subsidized for lower income buyers, it did not help with the level of finishes either. Don’t get us wrong, they are not bad… you will still find wood cabinets, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances etc. They just are of a lower grade. Some units had carpet throughout the space, which was contradicting the contemporary design of this building.
The amenity package is good: a larger pool, gym, clubroom, grills, concierge… all is there. The only thing to remember is that you will be sharing it with 500 other residents and their guests. That is until the second 39-story tower gets built… if it gets built.
And last but not least is location. Twelve Centennial Park is located in Downtown and, just as the name hints, in close proximity to the Centennial Olympic Park. You also will be within walking distance to the Aquarium, CNN building, Georgia World Congress Center, the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and many other attractions favored by Atlanta’s visitors. On the other hand, we don’t find this location to be as attractive as prime Midtown from standpoint of walkability and neighborhood feel. But at the same time there are plenty of restaurants and entertainment venues nearby… and you are still just a 5-minute Uber ride away from Midtown.

Top 3 things we LOVE about this building:
1. Lower price per square foot when comparing to similar buildings in the neighboring Midtown.
2. Ability to use services of the hotel located on the lower floors of this building.
3. There is a MARTA train station at the entrance to the building.
Top 3 things we HATE about this building:
1. Some of the units were originally subsidized for lower income buyers.
2. Location is central but doesn’t quite match the “walkability” of prime Midtown neighborhoods.
3. This building is very big with over 500 units. And it can get even bigger if the originally planned second 39-story tower gets built.
