Spire was a “follow up project” after the success of Metropolis. This time sales exceeded expectations and the entire building (almost 400 units) was sold out before this high-rise was even finished. Yes, it is another “typical” glass high-rise building like many others, developed by Novare. It is 28-story high and most units face either North or South. Both directions offer spectacular views. That is unless the unit is located on a lower floor, then your views could be limited.

Amenities just like in other buildings by Novare include 24-hour concierge, roof-top pool, gym and clubroom. Location is fantastic and offers an array of cafes, restaurants and bars. This location is very “walkable” and you will always feel like you are in the city.

Most of two-bedroom floorplans are reasonably sized. However, when it comes to one-bedroom plans some are really small. We feel like the developer was trying to test how small of a space they can develop and still get away with it. So, if you intend to live in your condo full-time we would recommend carefully selecting the unit you are about to buy.

We also feel that buying a unit in Spire should be considered in the context of two other buildings, such as Metropolis and Viewpoint. All three are virtually located in the same spot, all offer similar unit design, finishes and amenities. However, in Metropolis you can get more square footage for less money. While in Viewpoint you can find similarly sized units for about the same amount of money. At the same time Viewpoint is a newer building with an even greater amenity package and spectacular views from almost all the units. But with that being said, we still think Spire a great building and should be considered… especially when a well-priced opportunity presents itself.
