Paramount at Buckhead is a 40-story high-rise located just off Peachtree Road in a very close proximity to Lenox Mall. Paramount was initially designed as a luxury apartment building. However, with construction completing in the mid 2000’s when real estate was selling ridiculously well Paramount was converted into condominium and offered for sale. A good part of the building was sold before the crisis of 2008, however some of the units were sold at a steep discount shortly after. Currently the price levels are not bad, especially when you look at price on per-square-foot basis.

The building has rather classical than modern design. However, units have 10-foot ceilings and large windows which make them look modern and spacious. Units facing south have very attractive views, while units facing north will only look at an office building in very close proximity. Floor plans are quite large. One-bedroom units start from 970 square feet and go as high as 1300. Two-bedrooms range from 1300 to over 1800. Most three-bedrooms and penthouses will be over 1800 square feet. All the units have balconies, some of them are quite large. Standard finishes for the kitchens and bathrooms are not very exciting and represent the heritage of building being initially planned as an apartment. Ugly vertical blinds are another part of that heritage. On the other hand, if a unit has been renovated by a previous homeowner it will look more on par with the grandeur of this building.
 

And speaking of the grandeur, the amenities in Paramount are truly grand. Beside your typical 24-hour concierge, gym and pool, here you will find some quite rare features such as; pool-side cabanas, indoor and (!) outdoor movie theater, wine cellars, tennis court and even private garages in the underground parking deck assigned to some of the units.
 

Locations is also topnotch. The building is located in prime Buckhead within walking distance to the best shopping and dining options Atlanta has to offer. However, with being so close to the Lenox Mall you will end up experiencing difficulties driving in and out of the building during holiday shopping season… but this problem is not constant.
