BUILDING DETAILS
Meridian is a very traditional-looking high-rise situated in a very central part of Buckhead. It has Peachtree Road address, but it is not located on Peachtree but rather 0.3 miles away. Yes, sometimes developers can make magical things happen. This location is still very central and you will have a pretty easy access to both Peachtree Road and Lenox Road as well as GA-400. When we say easy we don’t necessarily mean quick. Close proximity to several office building and adjacent location to a popular shopping center do create a bit of a traffic jam during peak rush hour and holidays. Speaking of the adjacent shopping center, you may get a feel you are living in a parking lot due to one side of the building facing… the shopping center parking lot. Which unfortunately does not make for the most spectacular views. On the other sides of the building you should be able to see some of Buckhead skyline which is much more attractive.
Units are fairly sized and usually have pretty practical layout. Finishes are mostly very traditional, with classic design. This style may be less appealing to a younger crowd but might be more attractive to an older generation. Units are bright and spacious. Finishes will vary depending on whether the previous owner has renovated the unit and how long ago.
Amenities are pretty extensive. There is a large impressive lobby, 24-hour concierge, gym, squash court, club room, theater room, business center, gardens and rooftop pool. Everything you can think of is available to the residents. Maybe with exception of guest parking, which is virtually non-existent. Your guests could park in the shopping center parking lot but they need to be careful not to get towed.
Overall Meridian is a nice building as long as you are a fan of a traditional design. If you like something more modern, then you may want to consider Buckhead Grand located right across the street.

Top 3 things we LOVE about this building:
1. Pretty attractive Buckhead location.
2. Really extensive amenity package.
3. If you prefer classic architecture and design, then Meridian might appeal to you.
Top 3 things we HATE about this building:
1. You may get a feeling that you live in a parking lot of a shopping center… especially if you are in a north facing unit.
2. Getting in and out of your building during rush hour and holidays will be difficult.
3. Quite boring floorplans and interior finishes.
