Grandview Condos on Lakeside Drive is located between Lenox and Roxboro Roads in close proximity to Peachtree. This building is within walking distance to some of the best shopping centers in Atlanta such as Lenox Mall and Phipps plaza. At the same time location provides a certain level of tranquility and access to some green space of Mary Sims Park.

Even so Grandview was built around 1990 it aged fairly well and does not look totally outdated as some other older high-rises. The building is 36-story high and offers great views from the upper floors. There is, however, a lot of new construction happening in the area and some of the views are or will be blocked off, especially for the lower floor units.

The amenities are very typical of a Buckhead high-rise. Here you will find a 24-hour concierge, conference room, fitness center, swimming pool, jacuzzi and even sauna. Amenities are showing signs of aging but are maintained in a reasonably good condition.

Units themselves offer decent amount of space for both one-bedroom and two-bedroom floorplans. On the upper floors you will find even larger penthouses and two-story tower suites. Unfortunately, some of them don’t have outdoor spaces. However, the majority of the units does have balconies. Some of them are very large. Original finishes in the units are out of date, but many home owners have renovated their units with new kitchens, bathrooms and flooring. Some of those renovations were very successful, making the space look more modern then it really is.
 

When it comes to pricing, it is a little bit off, in our opinion. While some units are priced in between outdated (older) high-rises and modern buildings, which makes sense, others are priced similarly or higher than much newer and in many cases nicer high-rise buildings in the area. And at those price levels we would recommend opting for a newer buildings.
