BUILDING DETAILS
Cornerstone Village LG1.jpg

Cornerstone Village is located along Peachtree between 5th and 6th Streets. This location is as prime of Midtown as it gets. All you have to do is step outside and you will find an abundance of restaurants, bar, shops and other venues. You are a short walk away from GA Tech square if you are heading West and Piedmont Park if you are heading East. There are pretty much no negatives when it comes to location as it is probably the best city living you can find in Atlanta.

When it comes to the units, we need to divide them into 3 categories. You see, Cornerstone Village is formed by 3 (technically 4) buildings which have very little in common. There is almost a 100 years old historic Manor house, a somewhat Authentic Loft building and most recently build two “loftominium” buildings. The Manor house contains larger one-bedroom units. Higher ceilings, large windows and pretty good square footage (800sf-900sf) make them quite attractive. However, you will not see them on the market too often. Then there is a Loft building. This building at some point was an office structure which got converted into residential lofts. Here you will find a lot of exposed brick, large windows and open loft floorplans. If you like this style of architecture, then you will like this building. Not to mention, there are very few authentic loft buildings in this prime Midtown location. And last, there are two “loftominium” buildings. What is a “loftominium”? Well, we are guessing it is a crossbreed of a loft and condominium. In reality it is a typical apartment building where ceilings and ductwork were left exposed. So it is really neither nor. Should you consider this building? Probably so. Especially if you are looking for two bedrooms, here you may find them at more reasonable price then in surrounding buildings.

Cornerstone Village also offers a fairly nice amenity package with consists of a conference room, movie theatre, game room, fitness center and swimming pool. There is no 24-hour concierge, but there is an onsite management office during the business hours. Amenities are not your “latest and greatest” category, but they are in decent shape. So, if you want to live in prime Midtown location and don’t need the posh ambiance of newer high-rises, Cornerstone Village can offer you everything you need for comfortable living at a lower price.
