BUILDING DETAILS
We love Buckhead Village Lofts (as well as Mathieson Exchange Lofts)! Yes, we know this sounds like an emotional statement rather than a balanced review. However, we can explain. First, let’s determine one thing. Do you like lofts? If your answer is no, then we recommend for you to click back and look at many other condominium buildings we are covering on our website. If your answer is yes, then we have to tell you that in Buckhead your options for loft buildings are extremely limited. And it does make sense. Most lofts are conversions of the industrial buildings into residential spaces. Most of industrial buildings were adjacent to Downtown. Therefore, most of the lofts can be found there. But what if you love all the features of the loft (such as high ceilings, exposed brick, concrete floors) and at the same time want to live in rather luxurious setting of Buckhead? Then you have very few options and Buckhead Village Lofts is one of them.
Also since this building is not a conversion of the industrial space, but a residential building designed as lofts, you will not be dealing with such shortcomings of authentic loft spaces, as energy inefficiency and lack of amenities. And speaking of amenities, here you will find a 24-hour concierge, rooftop deck, gym, pool with jacuzzi and a dog park.
Describing units in Buckhead Village Lofts is very difficult since they are very different. Some are partitioned while others are left wide open. For example; here you can find a 1200+ square foot loft with two full bathrooms and not one clearly defined bedroom. Two units with identical footprint can be designed a bit differently. When it comes to finishes, units with original developer’s kitchens and bathrooms are starting to look quite outdated. However, some of the units were updated by the previous owners and have very modern kitchens and bathrooms.
And last by not least is the location. As name of this building indicates you are located within close proximity to the Buckhead Village. Shopping, restaurants, bars and lounges are all within your walking distance and provide excellent city living experience. At the same time Buckhead Village Lofts is kind of tucked away from the main “hustle and bustle” and offers a much more tranquil setting then other buildings in the area.
