BUILDING DETAILS
Brookwood is a 19-story luxury high-rise completed in 2009. Brookwood is located in… well, technically it is located in Buckhead, but realistically it kind of sits in between Buckhead and Midtown. This fact however doesn’t make this location any less attractive. Yes, it does not have the same “city feel” of prime Midtown or Buckhead, but there are lots of dining and shopping options right at your doorstep (actually some restaurants are located on the ground floor of the building). Across Peachtree Road you will find beautiful park-like Palisades neighborhood ideal for relaxing walks.
Building has more of a traditional design, even so it integrates modern elements, such as floor to ceiling windows. And speaking of windows, there is an unusual element present in the design, which is not noticeable on the exterior, but will attract your attention, once inside. While on one floor a unit will have floor-to-ceiling windows, the same unit above will have windows starting from the floor, but not going all the way up to the ceiling. Respectively, the unit below the fore unit, will have windows starting from the ceiling, but not go all the way to the floor. Some people may not care, but in our opinion units with “full” floor-to-ceiling design are better that the others and make the interior look more attractive. Speaking of interiors, standard finishes in the units are top-notch. Here you will find the best cabinetry, countertops, kitchen appliances (Viking), floorings and bathroom fixtures. The smallest unit is a 2 Bedrooms 2.5 Bathrooms floorplan with just over 1,200 square feet. As units go up in price, so does the square footage.
Amenities are matching the interior finishes and they are top-notch as well! Here you will find a beautifully designed lobby with 24-hour concierge, gorgeous English gardens leading to well-equipped clubroom, fitness center and salt-water swimming pool.
Overall, Brookwood is not cheap. But giving the level of finishes, we do not consider this building grossly overpriced either. Therefore, if you are looking for newer, higher-end luxury building and do not have strong preference between Buckhead and Midtown, Brookwood is an option you should consider.

Top 3 things we LOVE about this building:
1. Fantastic interior finishes with top-of-the-line appliances.
2. Great amenity package with English gardens and salt-water pool.
3. Smallest units still have two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms.
Top 3 things we HATE about this building:
1. South Buckhead location is good, but not as walkable as prime Buckhead or Midtown.
2. Windows and their height vary, depending on the floor of the building.
3. Lower floor units (which start from the 3rd floor) don’t offer much in terms of the views for a high-rise.
